Technology and the Work of Communicators

Technology and the Work of Communicators

I think we can all agree the technology has definitely taken over when it comes to what many people do in the work field. From understanding how technology has changed the work of communicators we can see that it has influenced the pace of work, increasing collaborations and how it has made jobs simpler with the assistance of training. Technology has overall changed the pace at which communicators work at. The pace is faster at which communicators are able to connect to others, find out information and informer their audience quicker. Communication with technology also is faster by breaking down language barriers that that have created with the business we do between different countries. With the help of technology, communicators are able to work more effectively and efficiently with the training that is provided for them. By being able to have technology to make tasks simpler it allows people to focus on the bigger picture of their job which is to get a message across.

Another example of how technology has changed the work of communicators would be the increased collaborations it allows them to make with other companies and people. For example, by having hashtags it helps communicators to find others who are interested in the same topic that they are and be able to reach out to them if necessary. Hashtags can be used on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and can be searched for quite easily depending on what the person is looking for and how deep into the topic they are willing to go. This is helpful if a company is hosting an event and they have a hashtag they are using to represent the event so that after that are able to see feedback, pictures and results from it.
